Was just browsing "the tube" for interviews with certain musical heroes of mine, as i usually do on Sunday evenings and thought i'd better ask about this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpOyyQXnqiQ... in which Johnny Cash mentions The Who in a list of acts that played on his show. This came as a surprise to me as I have seen probably everything made available from this show - but I haven't found any information about The Who making an appearance on that show anywhere else either. Forgive me if I've missed this in "Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere" by Matt Kent & Andy Neill or at Brian Cady's site over at www.thewhothismonth.com but... what do we have on this? Is there footage? Is footage lost? Was it even taped? Is it even true?!

Someone in the YouTube-comment section of this documentary...
... presumes that Cash confused The Who with The Guess Who, that performed on his show in 1970.

Tom Jones yes, Johnny Cash no. Although I'm sure Roger would have loved to have been on the Johnny Cash show.
