This is a question that seems to pop up every now and then on the Forum, so we may aswell have a permanent answer in place..... Pete Townshend has a Post Office Box for personal mail. All Pete's mail is opened by his Assistant, and anonymous mail or mail with no return address is destroyed before reaching Pete: Pete Townshend EEL PIE P. O. Box 836 RICHMOND TW9 9AG From thewho.com: "Large packages of albums, photos and other memorabilia will be dealt with via this address. We cannot take responsibility for any items sent in and can give no time-frame for turnaround. However, in 99% of cases they will get dealt with within 6 months and there are very few things lost." If you wish to contact Roger (or other any member of the band), you may do so through the band's Management office: Trinifold Management Ltd. 12 Oval Road London NW1 7DH United Kingdom Please bear in mind that the band are busy people, and there are many fans around the world who write to them them or send items to be autographed, so a reply to every letter received can never be guaranteed.

I confided that I had a crush on him in a letter I sent in 2000.

anyone ever get anything back? I got a signed RAH 2000 CD insert from Petey in 2005. As for sweet, angelic Roger, I got a letter from him in response to a quilt project I participated in for his 60th birthday in 2004. He wrote: "THANKS FOR THE QUILT. I LOVE GIRLS WHO CAN SEW!"
BTW, in past letters, I've written to Roger about Asperger's and Petey about child sexual abuse.

how many stamps do you need to send a mail from NY to Pete's mail box?

jrod, it depends on the weight of what you're sending. the average letter sent from the ny area to pete would probably cost somewhere between $3-4 (maybe even $2 but i'm not sure) sent first-class. your best bet is to send it through the post office so you make sure you get the postage exactly right.

I'm already working on the first drafts of the letters that I usually enclose in Roger's & Petey's Xmas cards, which I neglected to enclose last year, as they were drawn up sporadically and thrown on stage in Boston. How do they look so far?
PETE'S:
Dear Pete:
First and foremost, congratulations on another successful tour, albeit longer than previously. I would love to have seen more shows in addition to the two in Boston.
Anywho, I got married this past May to a wonderful man by the name of Tommy, who is not deaf, dumb & blind. Musically, he fiddles about - literally. Perhaps he could play the solo at the end of "Baba O'Riley" next tour!
Is it safe to mention that I have always been attracted to big noses? I find them very sexy, masculine & cute! In fact, if I were a teenager in the 1960s and crossed paths with you at the Who's beginnings, I'd have taken you under my wing and brought you home to mother!
Enclosed is a photo of myself & Tommy after the December 2, 2006 show in Boston, the one where I threw Mr. Snuggles up to Roger at the end of the main set. Mr. Snuggles is wondering when you & Rog'll hit the road again!
Happy Wholidays,
Sara xoxoxoxo
ROGER'S
Dear Roger,
It was lovely meeting you in New York this past October. I'm sorry if I appeared to hasty as to trying to get an autograph.
I got married this past May to a wonderful man by the name of Tommy, who, by the way, is not deaf, dumb & blind! Musically, he fiddles about - literally. Perhaps he could play the solo at the end of "Baba O'Riley" next tour!
BTW, thanks for the signature at the Roundhouse - courtesy of a couple friends that attended.
Mr. Snuggles has been asking about you. He's wondering when the Who'll hit the road again, so he can jump on stage with you again like last year! This time, he'll take along his lady friend. Since you blessed him with the Golden Touch last December, he's become quite the ladies' bear.
Enclosed is a photo of myself & Tommy in Boston last year at the Who's TDB gig. Mr. Snuggles is tucked safely under my arm.
I look forward to more Who activity, perhaps a 40th anniversary of TOMMY tour, being that TOMMY was the album that got me sucked in 18 years ago. Then again, take it easy, relax, chill, and live every moment of your life - so you once said at the Hollywood Bowl in 2002!
Hope 2007 has found you well, and that the next year finds you health, happiness, and hopefully more activity! Emphasis on the first! Be lucky this Wholiday season and always!
Much love,
Sara xOxOxOxOxO.........

you could always just stalk them, claim Roger fathered a child with you, etc. You know, use the old standby methods.
Tell Pete you know he's talking to you - and you alone - in all his songs and that Satan wants you two to meet.
Trust me, he'll be tickled pink and probably call you up to invite you over for tea and crumpets. No really, he will.

I know Pete might autograph items sent or send signed Photos, but does Roger? I thought I read on a autograph feedback website that people got letters saying Roger doesnt sign due to ebay

A ouija board would work especially well for John and Keith. You might get strings of swear words though; they're the trick in "Trick or Treat," don't you know ;D
