As part of YouTube’s #StayHome campaign, The Who will launch a six-week celebration of their incredible live performances.
The weekly series entitled “Join Together @ Home” on the band’s official YouTube channel starts this Saturday at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm UK. Each featurette—available digitally for the first time—will appear as a YouTube Premiere, streaming live and rarely seen footage, mini videos and special screen footage, culminating with a performance from a previously unreleased show.www.thewho.com/the-who-launch-join-together-home/Sounds interesting, but let's see how rare is rare as quite a lot of footage has circulated as bootlegs and torrents.

I got excited when I saw Rogers intro video
But when you realise it’s Shea stadium you know the con is on...!
They said under it “available for the first time DIGITALLY...”
So this will be a damp squib

But when you realise it’s Shea stadium you know the con is on...! Just noticed that on The Who's Facebook site someone commented "Have it" regarding the Shea show and the moderator replied "Not these five tracks you don't!", hmm...

Unless they are from the first(?) night at Shea? On the other hand, Shea BR has conveniently five tracks as bonus from the first show Well, we'll find out soon... EDIT: They were just those bonus tracks, just in different order, bah...

I think realistically if there were any rare or important videos, they’d keep them for a dedicated release rather than give them away for free online
Prob just show Isle of Wight , Kilburn , 89 tour, Albert hall 2001 and something from last couple of tours
Hyde park 96 would be nice as it was recorded well, but will never get an official release

Something from Leeds Uni 2006 is a possibility as well, I guess. It was definitely proshot, but can't see much release value for it anymore.
Didn't Pete used to have streaming service on his homepage around the time of In The Attic that looped at least some rare clips?

Yea there are loads of options but who this was for isn’t clear.
Hardcore fans already have it, and casual fans wouldn’t watch Shea versions of these songs

Hyde Park 2015 this week. They're really digging deep in to the archives... Underwhelming is the only word to describe Join Together @ Home so far.

According to Teen Cancer America newsletter, the program of the Join Together @ Home series will be: August 8 - Shea Stadium 15 - Hyde Park 22 - Royal Albert Hall 29 - Isle of Wight Festival September 5 - Locarno Switzerland 12 - Locarno, Switzerland PT. 2 Nothing too exciting. Especially Locarno as "unseen" grande finale seems pretty odd. It was a great show, but wasn't it streamed live on the old The Who Live TV site back in the day? A missed opportunity by the management, really.

Last Stop Locarno, part 1. "Rarely seen" as usual, webcasted live and released in the Encore series 14 years ago. Very good show though. As an addition, little extra from my archive:

Locarno, part 2:
EDIT: Funny how Roger keeps referring to the show as "unseen by any of us" while it's still being sold as part of Encore series and webcasted live at the time.

Teenage Cancer Trust will also be releasing unseen shows. The Who should be on October 17, according to the line-up page. Teenage Cancer Trust has launched a YouTube channel featuring exclusive and compelling music content to raise vital funds to support young people facing cancer across the UK.
Teenage Cancer Trust Unseen is an incredible archive of never-before-seen footage of live performances at the Royal Albert Hall through the years in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust.
This content will be free for fans to view but the artists and the charity are urging fans to donate.
Driven by our patron Roger Daltrey, a who’s who of world-class musical talent has played Teenage Cancer Trust’s gigs at the Royal Albert Hall over the last 20 years. All so young people with cancer get the support they deserve.
And now music legends are stepping up again, donating this exclusive footage to help make sure every young person with cancer can get support from specialist Teenage Cancer Trust nurses or youth support teams.
Because in 2020 that vital support is at risk.
