It's been available officially for more than 2 years. Was this the only extra new color footage released? There was also an alternate cut of Sparks.

Awful. what's that about? "On 31 March 1973, at the Sydney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, an otherwise Australian cast staged the Who's rock opera 'Tommy'. Keith Moon was delightful. Here are the excepts of his performance for your enjoyment. (The first vocalist is Colleen Hewitt, playing the role of Tommy's young mum)."' I thought that was frickin brilliant! Especially when he swallows the mic. Awesome footage!

Fantastic footage. Moon is truly an original. Love the part when he drinks from his whiskey bottle, which I have no doubt is real, and spews it out in the air all over himself. And swallowing the mic is purely Moon madness at it's tamest. A mad genius without a doubt.

He just looks like a deranged twat. Kinda what the deal of Uncle Ernie is all about. Lost your sense of humour?

I'm not into pantomime. Clearly thats how Tommy was intended. Shame really.

Did any of the other members of the group appear? It would be cool if the whole show turns up.

Too bad so many heads are blocking out Moon. Still nice to see some rare footage of vintage Who nonetheless.

John Bundrick opens up about Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend attending the funeral of John Entwistle for the first time ever. Also, Bundrick reveals which member of THE WHO contacted him the most after the death of his ex-wife.
John Bundrick, keyboardist for THE WHO, talks about being the real bad boy in the band and about how he got so drunk/high with KEITH MOON one night that he broke his wrist and was unable to play keyboards on WHO ARE YOU (the original recording). Find out what WHO recordings John Bundrick appears on. Also, Bundrick opens up about his wife dying and his roadie/tech replacing him on tour with THE WHO by Daltrey and Townshend immediately thereafter.

Don't know about anyone else here, but while it was interesting to hear Rabbit's thoughts & memories, I found this Strange Dave person to be both a ROYAL DICK (his stupid sound effects) & a MORON (not knowing who Zak's mother is/was, for example).

I found the content of the first interview nothing short of harrowing, and was astounded when those completely inappropriate and disrespectful studio sound-effects and background comments made an appearance.
I can only assume from his lack of reaction that Rabbit himself wasn't aware of them because he was getting a direct audio feed from the interviewer rather than hearing what was actually being broadcast to the public.

Yeah, I was kinda disturbed by that aswell. Interesting to get a little insight on the guys from Rabbit, though. That Pete seems to have issues with funerals and such things and that Roger truly is a rock, for supporting Rabbit in his grief and being a key person in getting him careful about drugs and alcohol. I've said it before and i'll say it again - Roger is a bighearted man.

Jones Beach guitar smash, 2000, proshot. Yeah, that pro shot Jones Beach 2000 is one of my favorite videos to watch from the 2000 tour - the poor soaking wet fans got treated with that cracking guitar smash by PT. The only problem with the video is that it's on 3 discs - I hate having to switch them out!

He should remember to remove his strap before he tries that. Could end up with a bad neck! What did he spray on it?

"Strange Dave" could be the biggest A-hole who ever lived. A man comes on your show in good faith to have a friendly interview with him and you play "funny" sounds effects as he talks about his wife dying from cancer and his bandmate/friend overdosing. That doesn't make you "strange". It makes you an absolute jerk.
