Is it me, or are they really kicking ass on this leg? Pete is playing louder, more aggressively, and very creatively. Roger's singing is getting more confident and expressive. Zak is sounding great as well, with more Moonish flourishes and a strong rapport with Pete.

March 25, 2015 New Orleans Fairgrounds, Jazz & Heritage Festival. It stormed & the wind blew yesterday afternoon cancelling the third act of the day. Dumpstafunk & played in the rain & finished at 4:15. I saw "The Who" sign placed & knew it was going to happen. The Who hit the stage on time & played LOUD, in your face, excellent set. First riff of I Can't Explain" set the stage, tone & ferocity of the set. It was fantastic. I first saw The Who in 1971 here in New Orleans & many locations since then, happily saw then in Dec 2012 in NYC & hoped it was not the last. Yesterday's Fest performance was incredible. Over 20 songs with many jokes & puns, Roger & Pete were grinning. I got a bit teary with the gracious performance from Tommy; when Roger sang "Listening to You I get the music" THE SUN RETURNS THROWING A SUNBEAM ON THE STAGE. I knew it was going to be extra special & moreso when Roger starting lassoing his mike cable & yes, Pete got in a few slit jumps. Thank you all for a memorable performance, one of their best ever!
