I don't see the thread about this, but didn't somebody ask for opinions? There were several, but none from anybody who was there. Here's someone from another list checking in who was actually there.
(Where is that thread, anyway?)
--- In WhoAreYou@yahoogroups.com > I would be in favor of releasing any film of the 12/3/79 concert. I don't think it would be disrepectful of the victims or thier family and friends. >

What would you think of that? > > > > > > --- In WhoAreYou@yahoogroups.com > > > Well as resident of Cincinnati and someone who not only was at the 12/3/79 concert and knew someone indirectly that was killed, I don't see a reason to continue with the ban. The deaths were the result of the mismanagement of Riverfront Coliseum and not the fans or the band. So I say lift the ban on festival seating. As long as there is proper crowd control and management of the venue. I see no reason to ban it

I would say that, regardless of how good or bad the show actually was, it should definetely not be released.
With such a negative thing attached to it it just wouldn't be right.
Especially when there's other shows that are much better that haven't been released where nothing bad happened at all...

Definitely agree with Billybill - why touch such delicate matters and risk hurting people when there's enough other shows that can be released!
