After seeing The Who in Columbus in August of '02 I wrote a luke warm review of the show. Last night, I pulled out the disc from that show and was able to listen to it at "proper Who volume". One of the things that bothered me at the Columbus show was I didn't think it was loud enough. Maybe that had to do with my seat location, but I was not in the lawn. I was so excited to hear what was a great show. If this was what I heard live I would have been much more excited about the show. Was Pino still too low in the mix? Yes, but Pete was playing like a man possessed, Zak was killing those skins and Roger was in great form. My apologies to the boys and fellow Who nuts for an undeserved underwhelming review previously. This show was great!!

I saw the Columbus 02 show and Vegas 02 which was two weeks later. It was difficult to hear in Columbus and I was in the 9th row. Now Vegas, if you read the reviews was like Live at Leeds. My ears rang for two days after the show. JD

I think the venue had limitations. I know they had a curfew that is why the cut "Relay" from the set. Maybe they had a volume limit too. LOUD IS GOOD!!! I like loud!

There was one good advantage of the Polaris and that restrooms were plaenty and easily accessable. JD
