Not really a DVD to get excited about. This review from Amazon sums it up quite well: This DVD has only FOUR songs. The songs are either in black and white (they are from the 60's) or so heavily solarized and chroma-keyed that you cannot make out any distinct features. These songs have been played on such channels as VH-1 Classics but unfortunately appear here in a somewhat more edited version. The songs do not play continuosly leaving you to choose them only from the menu. There is a "pop-up" choice (where you play these same videos with VH-1 style pop-ups). The total playing time of these four songs is less than twelve minutes.

There's a couple of Tommy numbers from Beat Club in 1969, See Me Feel Me and Pinball Wizard, not live though, they're miming to the original recordings. They look great and if you're into Tommy era Who I reckon it's well worth picking up.It was going for less than a tenner at Amazon last year.

I've got it. I have to say it's one for completists only. Unless you simply have to have a copy of them miming to a few Tommy songs, give it a miss. It just isn't worth the money, cheap as it may be.

Are that the clips from the Tommy special? No. Do you remember the Tommy Can You Hear Me? section in the DVD/video of The Kids Are Alright? It's like that. Just mimed.

Well they are from a 'Tommy special' sort of. They were made for Beat Club (German TV) in '69 as a promo for the Tommy album. It had Overture, We're Not Gonna Take It (in full), Tommy Can You Hear Me, Pinball Wizard, See Me Feel Me and possibly some other bits too. I still reckon it's good value at under ten quid.

Do you? I bought it, not expecting much because it was so cheap, and still thought it was an absolute rip-off.
It's just four tracks of the Who miming to Tommy songs. I don't think that's worth paying for myself.
