Long Live Rock/Punk and the Godfather 2004
I reckon this deserves a couple more hits. A sloppy version of LLR, but Pete and Rog and Zak really seem into it. The party atmosphere of the song is there. Punk is good as well, nice energetic songs that would be fun to have in the current set list in my opinion.

Why? Or more importantly... why? Roger had an allergic reaction to a fan's smoke during You Better You Bet and had to leave the stage. Good thing there is a smoking ban here now....for Roger's sake... you can't smoke in any of the events centers or in any place in a casino where there is a show....of any kind, can't smoke in a lot of bars here either. If food is served there is no smoking. So much for the "old Vegas" hahahahah (in my best Bob Dylan voice.."The times they are a-changin')

Just because you can't doesn't mean you wont. Besides... It probably wasn't tobacco smoke that bothered Roger anyway.

Wow, I'm really digging Trick of the Light live. Thanks for pointing us to it. One can imagine the barrage of noise from the two basses, since Pete is playing one as well.
One question though: with Pete on second bass, who is playing lead? I can hear one next to the brass section in the background, but never read anything about someone playing additional lead up to Boltz in '89?
Am I imagining things or is there someone extra on stage there?

I believe that it's either Germany or Passaic, NJ (I'm not kidding...) No additional guitar player, just a look of determination on Townshend's face, smiles of enjoyment from Daltrey and Jones, and expected seriousness from Entwistle. Despite the "polaroid" quality, one of my favorite pictures of one of my favorite bands... (and check out the SIZE of the bass Pete's playing....) HUGE!

Good stuff Jim, and you're right about the audience, what a great recording with the live vibe adding so much. Too bad the more known recordings of the '82 tour don't quite live up to this. Thanks for sharing it!

Meat Loaf talking about Rocky Horror, and how Keith Moon would come to visit. He just mention him briefly, but funny:

Just posted a bunch of isolated tracks, alot more to come! I can't post all of them here. Here's Going Mobile. Pete's playing is so f**king amazing on it. Especially 2:03 and forward: I hope Floss will have some of Pete's bluegrassic/electric/flamenco guitar licks and power chords. Go here for the rest: www.youtube.com/profile?user=Swesuburan&view=videos
