I go to this workout place called Curves. It is a ladies only place where you alternate 30 seconds on resistance machines 30 seconds on an aerobic platform. It is chock full of "senior" ladies, but I don't care I do my thing and leave. Anyway....they play upbeat music to keep your energy level high. Usually it is familiar songs from the 60's-today, not done by the original artists. Sort of like grown-up "Kids Bop". So the other day I start my routine and I am saying to myself "I know this song, but what is it?" Then I realized it was the WORST possible version of "Won't Get Fooled Again"!. I had to hold my laughter in. Does Pete know about this? How much could this exercise chain have paid for the rights? After that they played Donna Summer's "She Works Hard for the Money", which is more of what I expect. Pete...what were you thinking? They also played a butchered version of a song from a few years ago I really liked. I don't know its name or the artist, but it had lines like "and its been a while since I can say I like myself again", "and I can still remember just the way you taste", and "all that sh#@ seems to disappear when I'm with you". I think I may write to the parent company and tell them to stick to the campy-pop-dance classics. No rock, classic rock, alternative rock, metal etc.! JK
