I'm a relative newcomer to this forum (joined in February) and live just outside Edinburgh. I've just managed to wangle a job related training course in Surrey beginning the day after the Brighton gig. I'd love to go and see the band again if I possibly can. I've only just found out about the course, so I wasn't in a position to buy tickets when they first became available.
Does anyone have a spare single ticket that they would be willing to sell me? Funds are pretty tight, but I'm happy to pay a bit over face value. I've looked on Ebay, but they always seem to be in pairs and I'd far rather buy one from a true fan rather than a tout.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The very nature of the people on here means the chances of someone offering a spare are likely to be slim. Good luck to you though.
Mind you, if you ARE prepared to get one off a tout, and are prepared to hold your nerve, you have a decent shout fo getting one below face value if you can hang on till the band are nearly on stage.
At the Forum two years ago I got chatting to a quite ludicrously thrilled Aussie who managed to get in for a tenner and proceeded to text every single one of his mates that he was just about to see the Who...
Having said all of that, if my friend for some reason can't make it, you'll be the first to know.

Hello again,
Thanks for your posts. I hadn't noticed the single tickets on Ebay, but I can't afford to spend the best part of £80 for a ticket anyway. Maybe I'll just take my chances on the night, although I would like to see the Casbah Club again as well if possible.
It's so frustrating that the only gig the band are doing in the 'North' is T in The Park which is happening whilst I'm on holiday. I still live in hope of being able to take my eldest son (who's nearly 13) to see the band before it's too late, but I realise it may never happen.
Anyway, thanks again for your replies. If anyone does happen to have a spare Brighton ticket.........
