So rehearsals have started and from what can be seen/heard from the litttle clip on Pete's site, the band sound great. One question: the picture I got was about the size of a stamp and couldn't be enlarged - is that a technical problem at my end only? I mean that was REALLY a tiny screen, not good for people my age and eyesight....

i sat there for ages trying to figure a way to enlarge it...but it couldnt be done... I get the impression you guys didn't dowload it. Right-click the link on the diary and then choose 'save as', give it a location on you hard disc and then download it. When it's on your harddrive you can do anything you like with it. Still, I downloaded the medium version and the quality of that wasn't near that of films put up by Matt or Pete. It should be a lot better though.

I downloaded both versions and any attempt at enlargement resulted in picture distortion.
I had hoped that with the new pt.com Webmaster the Quicktime nonsense would have been ditched for a format more suitable for the viewer....obviously not!
Still, an interesting clip, with good sound.

Good eyes on the Hiwatt spotting!! Pete clearly hasn't given up on them, they keep re-appearing early on the last few tours before disappearing; he just needs to use them again. On Rabbit's page - johnbundrick.com/blog - it shows Pino with a Tele bass guitar -- maybe it's got more high end and that's why (it looks like) Alan Rogan is putting it in his hands?? kc

Are they rehersing in a movie studio or something? with green screens etc it does seem that way...?? It's Bray Studios, near Windsor. They made Hammer horror films there in the 60's, and, rock opera fans, it's where they filmed the Rocky Horror Picture Show. For those of you old enough to remember them, the "special effects" sequences for such sci-fi gems as Blakes 7 and Space 1999 were also filmed at Bray. Where music is concerned, its more recently been used by Queen, Eric Clapton and AC/DC....and of course, The Who.
