We're giving you the first chance to buy tickets. 124 tickets are available to alumni through this online ballot. Also this:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just got of the phone.
Refectory has a capacity of 1,800.
apart from the 124 available for The Alumni and the guest list (they arent certain how big this will be), the remaining tickets will be on sale Friday Morning.
They will be only available to personal callers, not available online, phone or through any agents. Not certain on how many tickets will be available per person.
The guy I spoke to believed there will be a fair number of tickets available, (guess at least a 1,000) but in his words there is incredible demand.
The details havent hit the local media yet but I expect that to change in the next couple of days.

That is real. I've used them for pre sale tickets before with no problems.
I suppose the only danger is that they have cocked up and will cancel the sales. Worth giving it a go though especially as I can;t queue on Friday.

Have to say that does look a bit dodgy considering the University say tickets will only be available from the venue and limited to 2 per person. Many of these agencies advertise tickets before they have them, then snap them up and sell them on once they get released. Maybe this place hasn't realised that the Leeds gig isn't being ticketed in the usual manner.

i thought they were only available to personal callers, not available online, phone or through any agents. I suspect the Uni may have not been telling the full tr uth and the personal sales will be for their allocation only.

Who wants to make the first guess as to the highest price a pair of these Leeds tickets are gonna fetch on Ebay.... I dont even want to think how much some people are going to make on these tickets....if i had enough cash i would probably bid on ebay though as its so inconvenient to go all the way to Leeds to buy the tickets....its going to be an amazing gig though....i wish i could be there!

Have to say that does look a bit dodgy considering the University say tickets will only be available from the venue and limited to 2 per person. As I said Ticketrush are wholly genuine and I've used them for presale tickets for Tool and a couple of others with no problems at all and it uses Ticketmaster for the actual sales.

If Gregs used it before with no problems I feel a lot safer. The possibles are:
They HAVE cocked up and sales will be cancelled The picking up in person IS for the unis allocation only, and.. No problems at all, and I'm off to the Who live at Leeds at face value.

Ticketrush is a brand owned by Ticketmaster. When you come to buy tickets you do so via the Ticketmaster site.

We'll probably head into town for a bevvie or three. Of course it's possible the uni may put on a special after show club night in one of the 3 million bar/clubs they have in there now

I'm currently trying to flog my Tool tickets for next week because I genuinely can't go. I've got them on Scarlet Mist and Ebay at a price that covers what I paid + postage and the Ebay/Paypal fees.
