I wouldn't wanna be Pete or Rog about now.... We all know the Who rejected Woodstock's supposed 'message', so have no responsibility to protect that festival's 'legacy' (which I think, next to the music and a fascinating film, didn't amount to much). Next to that, I found what Pete and Roger said in the last picture highly uncharacteristic. Pete never shied away of talking about his desire to make money next to the creative part of his job, but I don't think the Who cares whether they play to people with low, moderate or high income. They're just selling their product, entertaining their audience, and it doesn't make a difference to them. Besides that, they're playing Hedgestock for the Teenage Cancer Trust, aren't they. Where better to raise a lot of money than in front of a troop of multi-millionaires? Anyway, the cartoon is a joke and Pete and Roger have nothing to worry about.

Am I missing the concern here? It's a satitical comic strip, plain and simple - no need to get them in a twist!!!

'Alex' is a long running and (usually) very funny cartoon and this is a typical example. They aren't sending Pete and Rog up so much as the concept of the concert and it's target audience.

Trouble with these little cartoons is, they are never funny.

OK guys, maybe I overreacted a bit, not knowing the paper and the context of the cartoon. British media have the reputation of being extremely harsh on celebrities, and I thought that this was another example of that.
