'VIP tickets' vary. They can range from being good seats with a hospitality package, to the full VIP treatment with an aftershow meet and greet. You'd have to email the site to find out exactly what kind of VIP package they're offering....but I wouldn't expect too much for £176.

that is interesting. Have they been known to have meet and greet packages ever in the past?

the VIP tickets at Bristol are simply a small area reserved at the front of stage in the gold circle.

>that is interesting. Have they been known to have meet and greet packages ever in the past? It's unusual, but not unknown, and more likely associated with very expensive charity shows. However, there was one in Australia two years ago for winners of a radio competition. See pics here: www.petetownshend.co.uk/projects/thewho/main/diary/display.cfm?id=235&zone=diaryI think it's unlikely any of the VIP packages contain a guaranteed Meet and Greet, but I think I have heard some stories about some of the principals appearing.

Designer, I suspect the VIP tickets don't have a "free bar", rather they have an Open bar. But there's a glass of bubbly at reception, which would be free. And "after show hospitality" whjch is Ligging backstage, but it is unlikely that anyone other than liggers will be there. The more interesting info would be "where & when is the Attic going to be ?" But now Hyde Park is the day before, this show might be somewhat shaded by the previous evening, unless this is a "small venue" - Did Anyone go to Beaulieu last year ? I think it was Status Quo.

Beaulieu will be a smaller crowd than Hyde Park I suspect , but exactly what capacity I have no idea. Hyde Park could be anything from 50,000 to 150,000 depending on how much of the park is set aside for the gig.

Tim, the point was to ask someone that has been to Beaulieu last year at the concerts.
(I've been there, but not to a concert setup) The limiting factor on Hyde park are the nannies from the council (oooh, its my shadow) and it says "subject to licence" because its obviously still or to be negotiated : if you saw the "behind live 8 " footage with Geldof versus Harvey Goldsmith Harvee, Harvee.... a fascinating insight.
