How cool is that. I hope to back from Australia at Easter time and plan to move to Winchester to live and work so that is the gig for me to go to. I am from the area and went to Beauliea a few times as a kid. Can't wait. Will it be seats or standing or both and who and how many bands will be on the bill? It will be my second time seeing the Who live. I saw them in Birmingham at the NIA a few years ago.

40 quid?! I feel ripped off more than enough when I get charged a fiver from regular agencies. This must be why our American cousins have been bitching about Ticketmaster for the last few years....

They're all the same these days, not just Ticketbastard. It took me ages to get through this morning, all the agencies are in meltdown as the V Festival tickets also went on sale at 0900hrs. By the time I got through all the Grandstand tickets had gone - no worries though, am looking forward to a few days in the New Forest!

ach you have to feel for those poor overworked souls at ticketmaster, they bring to us fans service with a smile and the tickets are always nice and crisp! very small profits for them, mabye something like 150,000 to 200,000 per gig and once they pay their 4 members of staff the pricey minimum wage that only leaves enough for 10 yaughts per year 20 trips to the bahamas 4 mansions 30 sports cars etc.............! fair enough they do spend heavily on nice carpets at their outlets for the benifit of our feet! ticketmaster my arse, racketmaster more like

Thanks Islander and ALL you others contributing ticket info, Really, you are the best at keeping me informed. Whilst I don't mind missing parking my cold *rse on the pavement overnight outside the Lyceum (hi y'all) to wait for tickets, the official scalping is a right kick in the teeth for the paying audience. I thought the Who were better than Stones in this regard, but really not so sure now. Well put bigbodspider. Can only hope they get electric shocks from the deep pile in their office. Online ordering requires bandwidth and servers to process, but now we know who's reserved some of the 400 Bentley Arnage's on sale. But less of a rip off than 400 million for a Scottish meeting room (aka Hoos of Parliament). I'm sure it has a lovely Celtic name, but c.b.a to lookitup.

yeah i hate ticketmaster. i had bought some new york yankee tickets for the world series in the past but the yanks ended up winning and that game was cancelled. i wanted to get my refund but they would not refund the service charge and delivery charge. ticketmaster sucks ass. i think pearl jam refused to deal with them. if the who come to where i live i think i may get a scalper. i bought from one for the mansfield 2002 dvd show for 20 bucks for a grass seat but it was a big tropical strom nights so it was kind of rought

Eventually got mine -internet was jammed up so did over the phone- half an hour !!!!! These charges are really taking the p**s. Do you remember in 2000 when Matt Kent via Naked eye managed to get us access to a hotline 24 hours before they went on sale to the public. This worked really well as i got front row at Wembley & London arena for £30.00. But as there are always A**holes in the world - Matt didn`t receive money & i believe he was out of pocket on it. It is such a shame when people abuse offers that have been set up. Now we all have to spend a fortune on tickets & waiting on phones/internet. I am also suprised & a little dissapointed that The Who have succumbed to these sort of prices. They always did keep them as low as poss. And whats this sh** about VIP areas/golden circle so much for a mirror of the audience. But having said that as always i shall be there - f***ng mug.
