Why? Or more importantly... why? Roger had an allergic reaction to a fan's smoke during You Better You Bet and had to leave the stage. Poor thing.

First chance to see some Encore video from USA.
The bass sounds high in the mix and the director/camera cuts to Pino at the right time!

great clip, getting back to the old WHO going off on mad codas. Brilliant. Was the rest of the Chicago gig as good as this?

My Generation/Cry If You Want, Roundhouse 2006: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aco-hsw5nmkWhen Roger barks out CIYW during the jam it gets a bit funky, maybe a bit into the hip hop direction. At least that's how it seems to me. Rog is in great voice too, as he demonstrates a few times. Too bad Pete's guitar goes out of shape at the end. Won't Get Fooled Again (by Labelle): www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgyTC2YIBVcNow we're talking genre crossovers, I really like this R&B version by Kit Lambert's 'other group', Labelle. Won't Get Fooled Again by that other tight rock band...: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x122AkW4CyIGotta respect Eddie emulating the synth track on his guitar. Van Halen used to be a pretty tight band judging by this video.

Jeroen, I have horrible memories of that Van Halen video. I don't know, it just doesn't work for me, especially the bass and drums. Maybe I'm Who-spoiled. Also, Eddie's emulation of the synth track is indeed fascinating and worthy of respect, but I would like it a lot more if he didn't cock up every other note. And Sammy's shout of "They're all wasted!" at the end makes me want to eat babies.

Haha, it's just an observation, don'tcha worry about it. My opinion, you know? That. In contrast, that video of the My Generation/Cry If You Want medley, which I had not yet heard, is f***ng great. I'm looking forward to seeing that live.

Just been on you tube and some of the who docs have been removed. Apparently for violation of the videos. Anyone got a clue what that is about?

YouTube has been forced to clean up the video's that are copyright infringements lately. They are expected to suffer a lot under lethal action the next few months. Are there any classic Who vids that got the boot?

Are there any classic Who vids that got the boot? May Youtube rest in peace, then, coley. I got your meaning. Youtube's big time purchase by Google, a huge public corporation, means that its legality has to be nearly perfect. I don't know about the status of any Who videos, though.

I think if the MPAA and RIAA could have things their way, they'd happily be dishing out death sentences for anyone who dares cross them. Be a much more effective deterrent than suing people into poverty....
