That's the nature of discussion forums...setlist related topics will always be repeated when a band tours. And don't forget, for some people this may be the first time they've been online to discuss such issues. And surely this particular topic's 'groundhog day' nature (and the thread having been read 1545 times) shows that many people do give a toss? Aaaaaaaaaaanyway! Back to the discussion..... Fair comment but surely if you have been lucky enough to see them that many times to get bored of it you should maybe take a rest?? Not necessarily, because each new tour brings new hope of setlist variation....

Hi,
I cant see on the Diary entry where it says they will be playing "A QUICK ONE" im wondering if this has been misread or if hes announced there doing "A QUICK ONE" somewhere else?
A quick one is one of my top 5 Who songs so it would be great to see this live.
I think the USA tour will show a lot more rarities than the UK shows due to them starting the UK gigs next week and a lot of the UK shows being festivals etc of which they will probably concentrate on there greatest hits type set lists.
Thanks Alex

Cool,
Has this been played live much/before? Its 20mins long from memory so might be a bit tricky for them to fit in to a schedule
Thanks Alex

Thanks AlexIf this post means you've never heard a live version of A Quick Ond, I urge you to get Live At Leeds or The Kids Are Alright right away.

Including A QUICK ONE shouldn't have to mean that other songs have to be dropped. Who would mind if the show runs a little bit longer?

If Pete and Rog are coming up with new, exciting lists (no one anywhere ever thought they'd do 'Here For More'..), then they should add a few real rarities/gems to the list (Blue Red and Grey is an excellent choice). I'd go for 'I've Known no War' (more timely now than '82), 'When I was a Boy', 'So Sad about Us' and 'Our Love Was'. I'd put IKNW right before WGFA, and leave the positioning of the others songs up to the band....
